Hi, I’m Carolyn. I was drawn to study RTT in 2020 after experiencing a time in my life that had me thinking “this is too big, I don’t have the tools to deal with it”. I felt immense overwhelm, burden, resentment and guilt. The uncertainty of the situation left me with a constant anxiety underlying every day.

Through RTT, I learned how to locate and remove unhelpful thoughts, feelings and beliefs about myself. It changed my life, and since training, RTT has allowed me to help others do the same.

I am passionate about how our minds work; for and against us, I love knowing that we have the power to control how we respond to external situations and that we can heal from hurt. I am committed to personal development and attend regular training and conferences to update and improve on my knowledge and techniques used.

My aim for the future is to reach as many people as possible with really simple practical ways to handle emotions, limiting beliefs and unhelpful thoughts.

Reducing the time we sit with negativity, self doubt, anger, guilt and other harmful feelings, will, over time improve our health, self love and energy.

What is RTT?

RTT stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy. It uses a variety of techniques that enable me, as a hypnotherapist, to guide you through a session in understanding when, how and why, you have formed some of the beliefs you are carrying around with you.

These thoughts that run 95% of your day are preventing you from being any different than you were yesterday, last year, a decade ago or when you were a small child. Because that is when they were installed in you.

If you want positive, fast and permanent change, without weeks, months or years of talk therapy, RTT is for you. After just one session, we have located the reason and cause for your unhelpful beliefs, and by doing that we can let them go (hence the name of my business!).

It’s really important for you to learn that repetition is a vital part of the process, to install the new, positive beliefs into your mind. Your neural pathway can be updated, but like a well trodden path, it takes time and consistency to make it established. I will provide you with a recording, made specifically for you, which requires you to listen to it for a minimum of 21 days. This is how long it takes to rewire your mind and install a better self talk in your head. One that actually helps and cheers you on in life instead of dragging you down. You have got this!

What is hypnosis?2022-12-02T08:04:41+00:00

Hypnosis is very natural and something that you have experienced many times, as soon as your conscious mind drifts away, your subconscious steps in, this is hypnosis. Our subconscious runs most of our thoughts and behaviour, using past experience and learned behaviour that we have hardwired into our brains. Hypnosis allows us to access this programming and understand where and when these beliefs and behaviours were formed and how they are influencing our decisions and behaviours today. If the beliefs are limiting our actions, we are able to update them and let go of unhelpful thoughts, installing new, better beliefs!

What do I need to do to be hypnotised?2022-12-02T08:04:18+00:00

You don’t need to do anything, I will lead the session and help you to feel really comfortable and under no pressure to deliver a certain outcome. However you feel and respond, is exactly the right way for you and your mind at that time. You are completely safe and will feel like yourself. You can bring yourself out of the relaxed state at any time you wish and choose how to respond during your session. The less you feel that you ‘have to do something’, the better.

How should I expect to feel before, during and after a session?2022-12-02T08:03:56+00:00

As with anything you have not done before, you may feel nervous and thinking about what will happen. My best advise here would be to decide that instead of nerves, you feel excitement about the results you will reach and in trying something new!

During the session, universally, clients report feeling more relaxed and calm, realising that there is nothing they have to ‘do’ or no certain way to act.

After the session you may feel much lighter and energised, or possibly tearful and tired. Depending on what feelings you have uncovered and how you respond to this. There is no right or wrong way to feel, each way is individual to you. Some people may not feel different at all initially, whilst others may have a sense of letting go by developing a cough or frequent urination. The body responds differently to ways of releasing certain behaviours or feelings.

When will I notice a change?2022-12-02T08:03:33+00:00

There are three different types of change with regards to RTT, again, every person is different.

Immediate – You feel a massive shift straight away, immediate changes in your thoughts and behaviours right away.

Cumulative – You notice constant shifts in how you think, feel and respond every day and over a period of time.

Retroactive – You don’t see the shift right away, or even notice a difference in yourself. Then one day you look back and and see all the differences that you have made in your life and your responses towards certain situations that no longer hold you back!

What happens if I revisit a traumatic event from my past during the session?2022-12-02T08:02:34+00:00

Hypnosis does help you to gently re-evaluate the past, and so you may very well want, or need to revisit a scene which you didn’t even remember. I will always be here to remind you that you can not relive a scene, you will only review it, as though it is on a screen, you are always aware that it is in the past and you are observing it. Your mind will help you to uncover what it is about this particular scene that is inhibiting you from moving forwards or developing the necessary skills/tools you need for your life in the present day. It’s not even necessary for you to have to explain what it is you are experiencing or seeing if you don’t want to, you can decide, and as long as you can tell me your feelings that arising that is all we need to be able to figure it out! You don’t need to worry about anything!
